A studio built around one chair

Nadia Reyes opened Velvet & Co. in 2013 after a decade behind the chair at larger salons, where guests kept losing their color the moment their favorite stylist left. She built the studio around a plain idea: write down what works, and repeat it.

Every service here is logged. Your cut length, color formula, foil placement, and timing go on file, so the result holds whether you see the same stylist or one of the other five on the team. Six licensed stylists work the floor, each carrying their own book, and no appointment is handed off mid-service.

We stock ammonia-free and bond-building lines for guests who want them, keep a 7-day redo window on every cut and color, and confirm pricing before a single bowl is mixed. That is the whole promise: color you can repeat, on your schedule.
